Dear Parents and Students,

Amazon Valley Academy (AVA) exists for the purpose of educating its students socially, spiritually, intellectually, physically, and emotionally to become dynamic individuals of truth and excellence who positively contribute to society, providing an education that empowers each student to independently operate in various cultures while serving and respecting the peoples of all cultures and religions. Our academic goals will challenge students to become critical thinkers who reason according to the truths established by a biblical worldview, and will enable them to clearly communicate their knowledge in both English and Portuguese.

A handbook has been provided for you so that you will know what is expected of you and what you can expect from AVA. Please read it carefully, and keep it in a place where you can refer to it as needed.

Since enrollment in AVA is voluntary, it is our sincere hope and expectation that students and their parents will follow the school's standards with full and willing cooperation. My personal desire is that AVA will be an active and rich part of you and your family’s lives.
