Amazon Valley Academy is accredited by Southern  Association of  Colleges and Schools SACS and is a member of, Association of Christian Schools International ACSI.  In recent years over 90% of the High School graduates attend colleges and universities around the world.

Low student teacher ratios help foster the individual attention that all children need.  The relationships that are developed encourage personal growth, educational development, and the overall enrichment of each student.

Respect for authority which is both taught and practiced, produces a proper atmosphere for learning and building good character in the student.  Sports and physical education are incorporated into each grade.  Athletics are important in helping students develop physically and mentally.

The mission of Amazon Valley Academy (AVA) is to provide a quality education in the English language based on evangelical Christian approach.  Encouraging students to develop a proper relationship with God through His Word is essential in establishing a proper relationship to others and to the world around us.
Teachers strive to instill a firm moral foundation in students which will help them to be good, productive citizens.  Our goal is to develop good character, respect and individuality in each student and to provide a school environment in which all cultures are welcomed and respected, and loved, based on the Christian faith.

Good qualified teachers, small classes, a caring environment, respect for each student, encouragement for creativity, and a motivated group of students, are but a few of the qualities that have typified Amazon Valley Academy for the past 45 years.

Our students come from stable homes, where the parents spend a great deal of time supporting the efforts of the school to ensure student success.

The Amazon Valley Academy High School offers the ideal environment.  Small classes, a motivated student body, a varied curriculum, and a group of dedicated teachers.   The school is based on the Christian education model in which students interact with both the teacher and the other students within the class. The school stresses the respect for varied points of view, both within the classroom and throughout the campus.
