Chapel/Graduation Schedule

Friday May 11 - A special Mother’s Day joint chapel at7:30 am.
Friday May 18 – The students in the National Honor Society will induct new members into the Society. The students invited to be inducted will have met or exceeded the 3.5 GPA requirement while in high school and have been judged by their peers to be academic, spiritual, or athletic leaders. This will be a joint Chapel program at 7:30 am.
Friday May 25 – High School Graduation – Gym – 7:30 pm.
Friday June 1 – Awards Chapel, where all students are recognized for their participation in academic and sports activities during the year. Joint Chapel 7:30 a.m.

Graduates are off to College
AVA’s 2007 graduates are finalizing their plans for next year. Their current plans, announced last week are:
Anna Filsinger - Calvary Bible College
Krista Green – William Carey College
Kelly Hagar - Taylor University
Michael Lundy – Grant MacEwan College
Andrew Nunes – John Brown University
Jacob Patton – Edison State Com. College
Maria Triplehorn – Grace College

The School Play
The Junior-Senior HS play “Any BODY for Tea” will be presented Friday May 11 and Saturday May 12 at 7:00 pm each night in the school auditorium. Tickets are R$4 and may be purchased in advance, or are available at the door. Our thanks go to Mrs. Allen and Mrs. Hagar for co-directing this play.

Final Week
The final week of school will be May 28-June 1. This is the week for final tests and the completion of year-end projects.
School will be dismissed early each Day!
Monday – Friday : 12:00 Noon each day!

Re-enroll Fee Due
Students are not automatically re-enrolled for the next school year. To hold a position in the class for you child, you need to re-enroll them prior to June 30. The re-enroll fee is R$70 per child. After July 1, the enrollment fee is R$600 per child.
